Initially we felt debt was a good thing; just a financial tool. It allowed us to obtain things we wanted now and we could pay for it in the future….WOW! That sounded like a good deal… Just like when the serpent lied to Eve in the Garden of Eden. He told Eve if she ate of the tree of good and evil she would not “surely die”. Listen to me people, if you play with snakes you will get bitten.
